You do see the Embassy occasionally - usually overpriced - but this is only the second 1973 pressing I've ever seen.Raw Power was released on vinyl in February 1973. It's an album I'm always looking out for and I can honestly say that you don't see it much. This is now my fourth copy and my first 1973 pressing. Because he doubted that they had produced many different stampers for an Iggy Pop record in 1973. What he did say is that by 1973 the British CBS had a lot of their "UK" vinyl pressed in Holland and since this was a rather obscure album he thought it might sound very close to the British pressing. It mentions a 16 page booklet, as far as I know the Sony Legacy one doesn't have this.? I'm doubting the Discogs entry because it looks a bit cut'n paste.

But if Sony Europe have done their usual bodge job, it will be cut by some unknown mastering engineer and just a cash-in (The European Jeff Buckley Grace Sony Legacy edition is woeful). I understand the MOV is excellent, so I'd be happy if the deadwax info is the same.
